UNC Charlotte 49th Security Division Team Qualifies for Prestigious Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is proud to announce that its 49th Security Division Cyber Defense Team has qualified for the highly competitive Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (SECCDC), scheduled for March 23-24 at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This marks a significant achievement for the team, as they are one of only eight teams to make the cut from a pool of 38 formidable contenders.

The SECCDC is renowned for challenging participants with real-world cybersecurity scenarios, testing their skills in defending networks and systems against cyber threats. The competition serves as an exceptional platform for students to showcase their expertise, innovation, and teamwork in the ever-evolving field of cyber defense.
